Tadalafil

Tadalafil is a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. Erectile dysfunction is a condition where the penis does not harden and expand when a man is sexually excited, or when he cannot keep an erection. When a man is sexually stimulated, his body's normal response is to increase blood flow to his penis. This results in an erection. Tadalafil helps increase blood flow to the penis and may help men with erectile dysfunction get and keep an erection satisfactory for sexual activity. Once a man has completed sexual activity, blood flow to his penis decreases, and his erection goes away.

Mechanism of Tadalafil

Tadalafil, drug is used to cope with problems concerning the sustainability of penile erections. This drug is in the same group as Sildenafil and Vardenafil which is called PDE-5 inhibitors. An erection is generated by increasing blood pressure to a sufficient amount capable of withholding an erection. The flow of blood must be effectively propelled through blood vessels. The further increase in blood flow, the greater will the physical increase of the penis be.

Tadalafil Side effects

Tadalafil causes some side effects such as dizziness, pain, numbness, or tingling in the chest during sexual activity, immediately notice some of these effects, stop using the drug and call your doctor.

Other side effects caused by Tadalafil includes chest pain or heavy feeling, pain around the arm or shoulder, stuffy nose, general ill feeling, sweating or an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours. Also, if you experience any of these symptoms after taking Tadalafil, inform your doctor immediately.

Warning

This medicine may cause dizziness and so may affect your ability to drive or operate machinery safely. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this medicine affects you and you are sure it won't affect your performance.

If this medicine is taken with alcohol it may cause a drop in blood pressure that might make you feel dizzy. In addition, alcohol can impair sexual performance.

You should avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking this medicine, as it may increase the level of this medicine in your blood and hence increase the risk of side effects.

Do not share this medication with others, since they may have a problem that is not effectively treated by this drug, or they may have a condition that is complicated by this drug.

STORAGE:

Store at room temperature at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) is permitted. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
